We began as a hair extension specialist salon, we quickly realised that not all hair was suited to traditional extension types, and that having something for every single client who walked through our doors was so important.

What is a Hair Topper?
A Topper is a removable hair extension that sits over your natural part. Toppers are amazing for hair that is thinning from the top that is too sparse for hair extensions. Toppers can be worn on their own or with a removable extension piece to create the look of a wig without wearing one. They are also a great option if you are wanting a colour or look change without the commitment or if you are wanting to give your hair a rest from regular colouring.
We stock a range of Hair Toppers but specialise in lace. All these pieces come in a range of cap sizes, lengths and densities. Each piece has different benefits, we can custom order almost any topper cap style and length.
Types of Toppers
Mesh/Mono Cap
This is a Mesh or Mono Cap Hair Topper, This one specifically is one of our Mini Hair Toppers, which is a 3" x 5" cap. These are a fantastic starting point and amazing if you wear or would like to wear a removable fringe.
Closed Lace Topper
This is a Closed Lace Hair Topper, if you are worried about blending this is your dream piece! Nothing will sit flatter or feel more lightweight than a closed lace topper piece. They come standard as an 8" x 8" cap and can be custom ordered in any hair length or density.

Petite Closed Lace Topper
Our Petite Lace Toppers were created by us to bridge the gap between mini mesh toppers and a full size closed lace topper.
Our clients loved the size and light density of the mini mesh but wanted something that sat as perfectly flat as a closed lace topper.
Our petite closed lace toppers come as a standard length of 16" with a cap size of 5" at its widest point on the hairline down to a 3.5" at its narrowest point and & 7" front to back.

Seamless Silk Toppers
This is a Silk Top Topper. They have a 4" x 4" Silk top parting that mimic a natural scalp. Silk Hair Toppers are the most durable but they are also the thickest construction.

Full Lace Topper
A full lace topper has a full lace hairline like a wig, but only comes down to just below the crown a the back. This is a great option if you aren't ready for a wig but don't have enough hair for a traditional topper to clip to
Hairline Topper
A hairine topper is a perfect option if you are receding at the front hairline and not on the top to gain hair at your front hairline.
It is a lace front with a soft adjustable silicone strap to keep it in place. These toppers are also great for creating a fringe or 'bangs' with no commitment.

Full Lace Hand Tied Wig
This is a Full Lace Hand Tied wig, these pieces sit the most flat and fall the most naturally of any wig on the market as each hair is hand attatched. These are the lightest density but due to the cap construction they are also the most fragile. All our wigs are designed to be glueless.

Lace Top Lace front Wig
This is a Lace Top wig, they have a lace front and top parting with a wefted back. These wigs can be parted anywhere within that lace parting. They also feature soft gentle silicone lined clips for extra security. All our wigs are designed to be glueless.

Medical Cap wig
Our lace front medical grade wigs are specially crafted without combs or clips to be the softest most comfortable wigs for complete hair loss caused medical conditions such as Alopecia Univeralis or Totalis or for anyone undergoing cancer treatments. They are a lace front wig with a silk top and wefted back and are silicone lined for security and softness. All our wigs are designed to be glueless.
What hair do we use?
All our Wigs and Toppers are made with the highest quality human hair ethically sourced by our expert team. You absolutely will not find synthetic here, which means all our pieces can be washed and styled without any fear of it melting. Remy means it is all cuticle correct so all the cuticles are in the same direction, if hair isn't Remy it acts like velcro and gets tangled and matted very easily, definitely not the ideal scenario.
It is fine textured hair which blends well with most caucasian hair. Our hair has as a little bit of texture that holds style really beautifully.
All our hair is virgin collected with its cuticle in tact meaning the first colour process it has is the one before it is made into a Wig or Hair Topper, meaning better quality hair that will last longer for you. What does cuticle in tact mean? Some hair is not kept remy at collection and is processed where the cuticle is removed and replaced with a synthetic one. The synthetic cuticle can feel nice to begin with but wears away quickly. If you have ever received a human hair piece that is very shiny this could be why.
Being human hair means they can be customised with colour, we can adjust tone and deepen all of our wigs and toppers, they cannot however be lightened as this can impact the longevity of the hair.

Knowing if you need a Hair Topper or a Wig can come down to both the degree of loss as well as personal preference. If you are suffering from thinning depending on the pattern then often a Hair Topper is the perfect solution, if you are suffering from complete loss then a Wig would be your best solution. Only if you tell them! Our Hair Toppers and Wigs are so natural looking and we have so many tips and tricks to share with you to make sure your Wig or Hair Topper is undetectable! Colour really helps too, selecting a colour similar to yours will also aid in the illusion of beautiful luscious locks!
This really is personal preference in terms of colour, length and density its completely up to you, if you have always had really fine hair then we would probably suggest a light to medium density for you to begin with. Colour wise having your natural hair similar to the roots of the topper is best as for a more natural look we recommend wearing your Hair Topper 1-2cm off your front hairline, depending on your natural hair length and the density of your chosen Topper you may find some of your hair will show through slightly so similar colours for a seamless blend is best.
Cap size however does take a little recon. Cap size refers to the base of your topper and they are all usually measured in inches. Caps come in all shapes and sizes but the most common cap sizes are 7"x8" 8"x8". To find your perfect cap size use our cap measuring page here.

Absolutely not. all the gentle clips are silicon lined to avoid any tension alopecia. If your Hair Topper is worn as prescribed and not slept or swam in order to avoid any unnecessary tension on your natural hair, especially if your natural hair is fragile then you should not experience any damage. This also comes down to cap size selection if you are more fragile through the top we would advise a cap where the clips attach where your hair is at its strongest.
