This can be a tricky one, how do you know when to choose a wig or a topper and then what type, what length, what density and most importantly what colour? We offer complimentary in studio and virtual consultations to help with just that. We would love to help you out, contact us here.
The best way to know what size cap to order is to take some basic measurements of your head. For a Topper it will be crown and part line measurements and for Wigs it will be length and circumference measurements. Take a peek at our cap our cap measuring page here.
We use mainly European with some Brazilian and Mongolian, virgin collected 100% Human Remy hair.Does that mean absolutely nothing to you? Basically our hair is sourced, ethically mainly from Europe and its bordering countries. All the hair sourced is virgin, meaning when it gets to us it has only had one colour process meaning the hair will feel better and last longer. All our hair blends well with our due to its texture & holds style really beautifully. Our hair is all human, absolutely no synthetic here, which means it can be washed and styled without any fear of it melting. Remy means it is all cuticle correct so all the cuticles are in the same direction, if hair isn't Remy it acts like velcro and gets tangled and matted very easily, definitely not the ideal scenario.
Yes you can, but always proceed with caution. We always advise a professional colours your hairpiece as we only recommend that semi or semi permanent ammonia free colour is used. We also advise colour work only be done after a test strand. This will make sense to your hairdresser, and they are always welcome to message us with any questions regarding colour.
Caring for My Piece
Take a look at our full care guide here.
Our hair does have a slight wave when left to dry naturally.
This all comes down to each individual person and piece as well as how well it is cared for. The more often they are worn, washed and styled the less time they will last. If the incorrect products are used this will also shorten the life of your piece. There are quite a number of variables as darker pieces have a longer life span than blonde.
As a conservative guide a piece with daily wear and the right care products and tools your Topper or Wig will last 12 months as a minimum, we do have some clients still wearing pieces that are much older than those though.

Extensions
If the extensions are installed and maintained correctly they will not damage the hair. We highly recommend you conduct a thorough consultation to ensure the method selected is the best for the hair type and lifestyle of the client you are working with.
No, we ensure with the methods we teach that once you install the hair they are both seamless and hidden. We teach you to discuss with each client at install their preferred daily styling. You will have to explain they may need manoeuvre their hair slightly differently with extensions in compared to your hair prior to wearing a permanent extension method to ensure they are completely hidden.
Selecting the correct method for your hair is important, this mainly comes down to your hair as well as your lifestyle. The best way to know what extension method will suit you best is to book a complimentary consultation with us.
Yes, however depending on the method you may need to wait 24-48 hours after application to wet the hair or excessively sweat. If you do exercise regularly may be best suited to weft extensions over tape as if tape extensions regularly heat up during exercise it can make removal very difficult.
Swimming in either salt water or chlorine is not advisable with hair extensions installed. Both these water types can cause discolouration as well as dryness in your extension. Sunscreen can also cause hair extensions to discolour. Best practice is to ensure your hair is up whilst swimming and contact with water or sunscreen is completely avoided. If your extensions do come in contact with either the water or sunscreen we advise washing and treating them immediately after to minimise the effects on the hair.
Depending on the method, as well as the type of hair and colour, the hair can last anywhere between six months to two years, with proper care and maintenance.
