With over 12 years of experience across all hair extension methods, Straight To Hairven is a Melbourne based destination for premium hair solutions built on quality, expertise and trust. We are known for our exceptional hair, advanced colour work and expert installation but more importantly, for the way we care for our clients.
Founded by Michelle, we specialise in all hair extension application methods and offer personalised solutions for every individual including hybrid installations
. From clients seeking extra length or volume, to those navigating hair thinning or hair loss, our approach is always thoughtful, discreet and tailored. Hair is never one-size-fits-all, and neither is the experience.
What sets Straight To Hairven apart is specialisation. While many salons offer extensions as an occasional service, extensions and alternative hair solutions are what we do all day, every day. Our team has undertaken years of specialised training to ensure every result blends seamlessly and looks completely natural. The goal is simple: hair no one would ever question.
All of our stylists are highly trained across our extension and alternative hair methods and are senior colourists with years of experience. As a REDKEN Partner Salon, we use only the highest quality professional products, ensuring your hair is treated with care at every stage.
Crown by straight to hairven
While working closely with our wholesale salons and clients through Straight To Hairven, Michelle was introduced to a different side of hair care.
A stylist she supplied reached out about a client experiencing hair loss due to trichotillomania, asking if there was anything suitable. At the time, there was a single topper sample available, not yet a core offering. That topper was sent to the client.
The response that followed marked a turning point. The client shared how wearing the piece restored her confidence, from hiding at the back of university lectures to walking in and sitting at the front of the room.
This moment highlighted a need that went far beyond extensions.

Originally created as Crown Hair Couture, a dedicated identity for wigs, toppers and hair replacement. But over time, we realised that separation wasn’t what our clients wanted. When you’re navigating hair loss, you don’t want to feel different, you want to feel like yourself.
Today, Crown by Straight To Hairven exists under the same trusted banner, seamlessly integrated into our salon while offering a private consultation space for those who need it. Our Crown consultations are held in a dedicated, discreet environment, allowing clients to relax, take their time, and explore custom wigs, toppers and hair replacement solutions without pressure.
By bringing Crown back under Straight To Hairven, we are normalising wigs and toppers, worn and celebrated just like hair extensions, because thats what they are, not something hidden or separate, but something empowering.
And we are now on a mission, to make wigs and toppers as normal as hair extensions, because the only way to remove the shame and stigma is to make it normal.
